Lunch and Snack
What’s to eat?
Daily snacks and lunch are provided for our onsite programs (Campers, Explorers, Mazemakers, and Leaders). The food service professionals at Meadowbrook provide a well-balanced, nutritious lunch. Each day, menu choices include fresh entrées and some sandwich/salad alternatives. We provide a morning and afternoon snack.
For our adventurers program, we typically either buy food at the venue (we check on allergies ahead of time) or ask that families pack a lunch from home. Lunches must be nut free, do not need to be heated up and packed with an icepack.
Families are asked to not pack a lunch or snacks if their camper is staying on campus. This is to ensure food safety on campus for all members of the community. If your child has a food allergy or special dietary needs please be in touch with us before the summer.
How do you handle food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Our head chef works closely with families that have allergy or dietary needs as well as our health office to provide safe and appropriate meals for all participants. While we make every attempt to be a nut-safe program, Branches cannot guarantee a 100% nut-free environment.
Please note that due to the amount of choices we have during on campus lunch- including a salad and sandwich bar, alternative meals will not be cooked for individual campers unless there is an allergy concern.
