All other Adventurers weeks
A new adventure, every single day
A different Boston-area destination each day - museums, nature reserves, climbing gyms, and historic sites - always with their camp friends.
Where Summer Grows
They leave the campus, they take the community with them
Each Adventurers week is built around an engaging theme that connects outdoor education, hands-on learning, community exploration, and meaningful challenges. Campers don’t simply visit new places—they investigate, create, collaborate, and build a deeper understanding of the world around them. Campers must be able to manage bathroom needs independely to attend Branches.

No two days look the same
Theme-Based Learning Journeys
Each week connects thoughtfully selected destinations, outdoor experiences, and hands-on activities through one meaningful theme. Campers build understanding across the week rather than experiencing each day as an unrelated trip.
Supervised Travel
All trips are chaperoned by trained Branches staff, with clear safety protocols and regular communication with parents.
Cultural Exploration
Museums, historic sites, performing arts spaces, and working farms; a curriculum of place that connects learning to the real world.
Hands-On Experiences
Climbing walls, maker spaces, outdoor skills courses, and science labs; experiences children can't access in a typical school week.
Group Bonding
Traveling together accelerates friendship. Adventurers build tight-knit cohorts who share the same landmarks all summer long.
Reflection Activities
Brief, structured reflection at the end of each trip helps children articulate what they noticed, learned, and want to remember.
Overnight Adventures
Two themed weeks for campers entering Grades 6–8 include a special one-night overnight, giving campers more time to explore, build independence, strengthen friendships, and grow through adventure.
A summer's worth of stories
Independence and resilience
Navigating the world outside familiar walls, in a supportive group, builds the kind of confident adaptability that serves children for life.
Regional belonging
Spending a summer exploring the Boston area builds a felt sense of connection to the places, stories, and communities of their home region.
Curiosity as a habit
When every day is different, children learn to stay open, stay curious, and find meaning wherever they land; a skill that outlasts the summer.
