Camp joy, with expert swim instruction built in
At Branches, swimmers belong to a summer camp full of friends, discovery, and fun. In the pool, Tiburon Swim Academy brings specialized instruction to every Branches swim program. It is one connected experience: the joy of camp, paired with thoughtful coaching that helps each swimmer move forward.
We stand behind every swimmer’s progress
If a camper attends three consecutive weeks of camp, they will learn to swim and roll over to float or they will receive a free clinic with one of our head coaches.
Good coaching starts with knowing the swimmer
Tiburon’s student-centered approach makes room for both skill building and the confidence it takes to enjoy being in the water.
A relationship-first approach
Coaches build strong relationships with swimmers, helping children face their fears, build confidence, and feel ready to try something new in the water.
Progress at their own pace
Individual attention within group lessons gives each child room to practice, grow, and celebrate the next step.
Confidence with safety in mind
Tiburon’s published levels progress toward safe independent swimming, from learning to float and breathe to front-and-back swimming, stroke development, and endurance.

Certified Instructors
All Aquatics instructors hold current lifeguard certifications and water-safety credentials, and are trained in adaptive aquatics.
Daily Water Time
Consistent daily practice is the foundation of real progress; Aquatics campers spend meaningful time in the water every single day of camp.
Stroke Development
From bubble-blowing and floating to butterfly stroke refinement; a clear progression that children can see and feel.
Water Safety & Confidence
Beyond technique, Aquatics builds the kind of easy, comfortable relationship with water that keeps children safe for life.
Parent Progress Updates
Families receive regular updates on their child's skill progression, so growth is visible and celebrated at home as well as at camp.
Skills that last a lifetime
Measurable swimming progress
Every Aquatics session is structured around a clear skill progression. Children leave having genuinely improved — and knowing it.
Lasting water confidence
Many children arrive nervous around water. They leave with the relaxed, easy confidence that comes from real ability, not just encouragement.
Life-long safety habits
Water safety isn't just technique; it's calm, good judgment, and awareness. The Aquatics program builds all three, week by week.
